Eastmont Community Center Partners with Brand LA for Strategic Marketing Support

Eastmont Community Center, the nonprofit organization providing vital services to East Los Angeles families since 1968, is now a Brand LA Impact Partner. Eastmont will access Brand LA's strategic and tactical Marketing knowledge and resources to meet bigger goals.

Eastmont Community Center provides education, social services, as well as health and wellness programs to more than 7000 families per year, while promoting personal development and self-sufficiency. The organization distributes more than 200,000 pounds of emergency food to residents in need and boasts a 92% pass rate for those enrolled in Citizenship Classes. It also provides physical exams, vaccinations, check-ups, and monthly screenings for individuals and families unable to afford health care. These programs receive the support of local government agencies and community partners.

"Brand LA recognizes the challenges nonprofit organizations face in effectively communicating their mission to internal and external stakeholders. With Brand LA's support, we hope to highlight Eastmont Community Center's impact in Unincorporated East Los Angeles and neighboring communities," remarked Isaias Hernandez, Executive Director.

Through this partnership, Brand LA can execute multidisciplinary Marketing audits, share research findings relevant to Eastmont, manage projects for on-brand content creation, publishing, and campaign monitoring. With Brand LA's implementation of robust strategies for digital outreach, advertising media planning and buying, Eastmont will be able to utilize its Marketing budget more effectively. Public relations management as well as creating internal and external communication guidelines and protocols are also part of the mix.

Brand LA's 360 approach supports Eastmont Community Center's fundraising goals and the nonprofit's ongoing community programs, strategic relations, and partnership efforts.

Eastmont Community Center also manages and promotes the East Los Angeles Farmers' Market, which has brought farm-fresh food to the East Los Angeles community for over 15 years. The market is supported by the Los Angeles County Development Authority, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding and by Supervisor Hilda Solis’ office. Through solid partnerships with local nonprofits and East LA businesses, Eastmont Community Center highlights the best food, arts, and talent the community has to offer.

"One of Brand LA's most important goals is to make Marketing knowledge and resources more accessible to CBOs like Eastmont Community Center. The work our nonprofit organizations do is focused on elevating our region's human capital. We're very proud to be of service." Ivy Arias, Brand LA's founder and CMO.

Brand LA's Integrated Marketing Communication services are a game-changing solution for CBOs, small businesses, startups, and companies that are new to the LA business ecosystem. The higher average fees of Marketing, PR, and advertising agencies in the private sector are traditionally cost-prohibited for many enterprises and organizations.

Through this partnership, Eastmont Community Center is also supporting Brand LA's core mission and the agency's various programs and initiatives to advance regional economic development, foreign direct investment, and U.S. global competitiveness.
