About the event

Brand LA’s Annual Bulletin is a peer-reviewed study that examines and summarizes the current landscape of Marketing & Communications in the Southern California region with a focus on Los Angeles County. Specifically, demonstrating how our GloCal ecosystem operates — education, job opportunities, hiring, DEI, specialized workforce development, staffing, salaries, and outsourcing business models — by showcasing industry-specific case studies. The research design adopted for this project combines quantitative and qualitative methods to inform decisionmakers about economic implications, needs and specialization trends, data, key analyses and takeaways. This study also emphasizes the benefits of big data and predictive analytics to gain better insight into future events and trends for regional economic growth.

Over the last two years, we as a collective went through a defining, and even more a redefining, global event. As industries were upended, companies pivoted to address the needs and wants of their changing consumer-base. Many of those who further invested into a marketing experience and story showcased growth and opportunity where before uncertainty lay.

Marketing in the “Age of COVID” demonstrated that no singular approach works for every brand and showcased the importance that marketers and brand ambassadors remain nimble. As the “new normal” becomes clearer, public and private entities are relearning consumer behavior and the changing expectations of their clientele. Whether due to global crisis, a new generation, or the typical ebbs and flows of the marketplace, firms are doubling down in their investment on telling their story. We are inviting top leaders to participate in the launch of its 2022 Annual Bulletin, which will showcase how Marketing and effective communications contribute to an organization’s growth, solid presence in SoCal, and increased collaborations.
