Empowering the Next Generation of Inclusive Marketing Leaders


At Brand LA, we believe in building purpose-driven talent pipelines that reflect the diverse communities we serve. Our internship program offers real-world experience in nonprofit marketing, PR, fundraising, and strategic communications—with personalized mentorship and exposure to meaningful campaigns.
We welcome students, recent graduates, and emerging professionals with a passion for storytelling, equity, and strategy.

Internships are part-time, remote, and designed to support both your professional growth and Brand LA’s mission to amplify inclusive economic opportunity.

Internship Tracks (2025–2026)


Each internship runs for 10–12 weeks, with a flexible 8–10 hours per week commitment. Interns receive a $500 completion stipend, personalized mentorship, and credit on real-world projects.


Social Media Intern
Create and manage content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more. Learn platform strategy, visual storytelling, and audience engagement in real time.


PR Intern
Support press release writing, media list development, and earned media outreach for mission-aligned initiatives and public events.

 

Digital Marketing Intern (Project Management Focus)
Assist with campaign coordination, content calendars, deliverables tracking, and cross-functional project workflows.

 

Event Marketing Intern
Help plan, promote, and activate Brand LA’s seasonal and partner events. Gain hands-on experience with marketing logistics, outreach, and post-event reporting.

 

Fundraising Marketing Intern
Support the strategy and promotion of donor campaigns, branded fundraising efforts, and sponsorship storytelling. Learn how to market fundraising initiatives for maximum impact.

 

Strategic Relations Intern
Assist with stakeholder communications, partnership engagement, and marketing for cross-sector relationships with consulates, institutions, and civic leaders.

Ideal Candidates

 

  • Students, recent grads, or early-career professionals

  • Organized, proactive, and strong communicators

  • Interested in equity, economic development, social impact, or cross-cultural storytelling

  • ​Backgrounds in marketing, communications, journalism, business, event planning, or related fields
