Brand LA Launches Nationwide Annual Internship Program Starting June 2025

Los Angeles, CA – May 2025 — Brand LA, the nonprofit agency known for turning values into visibility, is officially launching its new nationwide Annual Internship Program this June.


Designed for emerging leaders in marketing, PR, and strategy, the program is open to candidates across the U.S. who want to gain real-world experience while advancing equity, creativity, and civic impact.


Operating remotely, Brand LA’s internship is a fast-paced, high-exposure opportunity to work on campaigns that shape the narrative of inclusive economic development, international trade, and community advancement.


"We’re giving interns what the industry too often withholds: mentorship, credit, and context. They won’t be on the sidelines—they’ll be shaping the message, leading initiatives, and gaining real experience in high-impact work,” said Ivy Arias, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Brand LA.

As part of its long-standing commitment to equity and second chances, Brand LA has successfully trained and mentored interns in collaboration with organizations like Homeboy Industries, offering pathways into marketing and communications for individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration. These interns have participated in public-facing events and campaign development, gaining both confidence and career-ready experience in a supportive, high-performance environment.



Internship Tracks for '25 and '26:


  • Social Media Intern – Build strategy and content across platforms and social networks

  • PR Intern – Assist in media relations, press writing, and storytelling strategy

  • Digital Marketing Intern (Project Management Focus) – Coordinate timelines, assets, and campaign execution

  • Event Marketing Intern – Promote seasonal events and community activations

  • Fundraising Marketing Intern – Design donor messaging and sponsorship narratives

  • Strategic Relations Intern – Engage with stakeholders, public agencies, and cross-sector partners


Internship Details:


  • Start Date: June 2025 | Duration: 10–12 weeks

  • Time Commitment: 8–10 hours/week

  • Format: 100% remote with optional in-person gatherings in Los Angeles and Miami

  • Stipend: $500 upon successful completion

  • Application: Rolling basis via brandla.org/careers
